EAGAN, Minn. – The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) has hired Loren Dauer as its new public policy specialist. His first day is Feb. 6, 2024.
In this role, Dauer will support the public policy staff in its efforts, including advocacy at the state capitol, issue research, and outreach efforts with county and regional Farm Bureaus.
鈥淎fter my years involved around public service and agriculture, I am happy to join the team at Farm Bureau and be an advocate for the farmers and ranchers of Minnesota,鈥 said Dauer.
A 2019 graduate of the University of Minnesota 鈥 Twin Cities, Dauer has experience at the state Capitol working as a committee page and as a committee legislative assistant in the office of Sen. Gary Dahms. Before coming to Farm Bureau, he served as a district outreach representative in the office of Congressman Brad Finstad. In this role he was responsible for connecting with constituents and monitoring and providing updates on district and local issues back to the congressman.
